During the installation of Windows Media Connect 2.0 it gets to the part
about authorizing the Xbox 360, but then I get this page:

Configuration Error
Setup cannot find the Xbox 360 console. To Establish a connection to Windows
Media Connect, make sure the console is turned on and connected to you home
network, and then select Next. For more information, selct the following
check box and then select cancel.

The thing is my Xbox 360 is turned on and connected to my PC, but I'm not
sure about the settings since the ones on the help faq aren't any help and
I've never done anything like this before.  Please someone help!

Make sure that you are not using a firewall that blocks all of your ports.  I
had that problem.  As soon as I made sure that all of the ports were
unblocked, and that the program can access those ports, everything worked for
me.
