Can anyone help me with this problem. I have windows media connect
installed, I have my LRM-519 set up, but it will not show up in my list of
devices. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing, unplugging and
re-plugging my device, disabling my firewalls, everything I can think of.
How can I get this program to recognize my device??!!??

Thanks so much if you can help me.

Does the LRM see the PC when you set up to do transfers to the PC?  Does it
connect to get the nightly program guide downloads?

Be sure to take a look at page 45 of the manual to ensure your IP addresses
are within one of the 4 private ranges specified.  If all of that is already
correct then I'm out of ideas.

Make sure that the LRM can "see" your PC at a basic level.  I set my LRM to a
static IP address (192.168.1.120) and then I can ping that address from my PC
to make sure they're "talking" at the network level.  If you can ping the
LRM, your problem is probably firewall related.  Try turning your firewall
off altogether and see if it shows up.
