Windows Forum / Windows Media / Player / March 2004wmv files will not play. all others will
Media Player says the sound driver needs update. I have checked it, and it is the latest driver. Wav files play fine, ad do avi files, midi files, but not wmv files. Just downloaded MP 9 with same results as 8. Checked for and downloaded any patches for mp 9 but same result. Have you tried simply reinstalling the drivers?
