I'm trying to play some avi files...and i got this error 8007007E . what does it mean? the error message basically says that this "module" can't be found/located when i try to play the files. Any help?

Error 8007007E or "Module not found" means something in the playback
chain isn't fully installed.  It is most likely not WMP, but something like
a sound card driver.  http://tinyurl.com/2o4h9 may help narrow it down a
bit.

Top solutions in the past have been
1) Updating DirectX
2) Sound card driver updates
3) Video card driver updates
4) Updating third party codec's
