When I am trying to burn a CD with Roxio in Windows Media Player 9 I get an error message that says wmburn.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows. You will need to re-start the program. An error log has been created. I have restarted the program and get this every time. Can anyone help? Yes Tammy, download a different program. WMP sucks. I have the same problem and have yet to find a solution. Ive burnt 10 or better cds without this problem and then all of a sudden I can't get past this error. WMBurn.exe is the wrapper for the free sample trail Roxio burner. Can anyone help? zachd, I have Roxio. Is there a way to direct WMBurn to use my proper Roxio? WMPlayer has the playlist which is not available to Roxio. Can anyone help? Not that I'm aware of. You could ask Roxio about that, though. I use WMP to assemble the playlist, and then simply take the ~4 minutes to reassemble that playlist in Nero.
