when i try to fast forward a movie it says "Windows Media Player has encountered an unknown error"

can someone help plz?

i also have this problem ..
i don't know why my Windows Media Player can not see MPEG2 file and avi file ..
can you help me to slove this problem , thanks !

Do you have to correct decoders installed?
