Media Player Volume BUG

Incredible that MS with all its claims of quality would
create such a huge bug in a simple app.

I have read several posts on this in last 2 days.

Most common problem is when move seek slider on Mplayer
the volume goes to full.  

Another aspect of problem I have experienced using
Mplayer2 (which is still only one that lets you run
multiple players at once) is that if you lower vol or
mute it once the player repeats (assuming you set it to
repeat) the volume goes to full and/or it unmutes
itself.  This is true no matter what the vol slide is set
to or what the mute button shows.

Microsoft should demote the programmer that coded this
and the tester who tested it.

Since you were being a little sarcastic there Chris allow
me to be the same.

Duh, what do you think I am trying to here?  I am
assuming that they (meaning MS) gets information from
this forum and uses it to upgrade fix their products.

Futhermore,  I have found other usergroup locations on
the MS website (I think they support several to confuse
us) and I also put these comments there.

According to everything I see this is not Microsoft Support, correct?  Now,
if you have an issue you would like them to fix, I would think letting them
know about it would be a good idea, no?

Chris,

I think more people would report bugs to MS if it wasn't
so damn hard.  I spent half an hour trying to find a link
on Microsofts web site to report this bug and came up
empty.

Years ago, I found a legitimate bug in VB 6 and actually
had to pay $250 to tech support to report the bug!!!  Once
they verified that it was a bug, I was refunded but it's
amazing what a pain in the neck it is to give MS helpful
feedback.
