Hi, I have a midi file can't be played in Windows XP,

Error Message:
Windows Media Player cannot play the file. One or more codecs required to
play the file could not be found.

Any Comments?

I am having the same problem, and the link you provided does not mention MIDI
files.  Most .MID links will play on my WMP 10 but others give this message.
I don't know how to find out what codec it needs.  I have installed all WMP
10 updates.
