When I load music on it comes with a preset genre like rock. But when I try
to change it to lets say Punk it will say that its punk and when i go to the
punk folder its not there. How do I fix this?

Is it still in the Rock folder?  I have noticed a bug or two in the genre
tagging.  I will change, say "The Eagles" from Rock two Classic Rock and 2
seconds later they will be back in Rock.

Indeed, I find that I first have to delete the contents of the Genre
field, then re-edit it to add the correct genre.
