Hi- (Chris please answer me- pleeeeese)

My WMP 10 is not detecting my CD burner (Server execution
failed, F5 refresh does nothing- error code 80080005). I
have troubleshooted, updated my firmware, reinstalled WMP
10, my hardware device is working properly with the
recording enabled and I have SP2. Is is a IMAP COM issue
(how can I enable that COM feature, or at least check to
see that it is)? Within WMP10 under options/devices when
I doubleclick on CD d:/ only the audio tab appears, no
recording tab- yet it does when I go into the device
properties directly....)

I have searched and searched and no one seems to know
what the heck is going on. Thanks to anyone who can help.

If
http://www.zachd.com/pss/pss.html#norecognize
doesn't help, you should probably contact product support at that time.

See http://www.zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info.
Following up to your post with the resolution is good netiquette.

I have got exactly the same problem.  Note comes up on BURN position on
player.  CD or DVD burner not detected.  I have a CD burner but not a DVD .
However I can burn CDs using NERO of through Picasa photo programme.
