Okay I am a Microsoft consultant for a fortune five hundred company
(before you call me a troll) and I finally agree with everyone else
that Windows Media Player is fairly crap.... to be honest it wasn't so
great when it came out (even before Apple with its gay IPod blew it
out of the water) and the only reason it gained any market share it
had was due to the good old Microsoft ‘bundling' technique.  Before my
favorite player, Itunes exterminated WMP, many other players (like
Winamp) had already partially annihilated Windows Media player and its
crappy isolated .wma file format.  But in the light of all this I
think it's actually a good thing for Microsoft that its player, online
store and media software are all crap and haven't dominated the
markets.  In fact I hope the Xbox gets thoroughly destroyed by the
next generation games console market too.

I'm not a hater; on the contrary I love Microsoft and personally think
Bill is a great con artist and shrewd business man.  But his company
has lost its way in my books, having one brand cover everything from
games consoles to corporate data centers…… are you listening?  The
same guy that makes toys for kids is programming my fortune 500 back
end infrastructure!!!!  That's damn scary, and if the CFO ever decided
to sit down and think about it everything would be ported back over to
IBM straight away!!  I think Bill needs to look at his ‘take over the
world' branding strategy a bit more carefully because he is going to
hurt the very market that put him where he is in the first place.

Come on Bill, Think!

I would quit your job and quick!  Your whole post has nothing to do with
WMP.  I sure as hell would not pay you to consult for anything based on you
comparing Sony's PlayStation to a media player for Windows.  The average
person switches career's 4 times in their life, you should think about doing
so now.

If you want to try posting again about the problems with WMP, please do.
But your not looking to intelligent in your current form.  I don't think
anyone will disagree that WMP is not what it should be, but you need to at
least make that point.  Your local classifieds are waiting...

In response to Chris Lanier
"YOU'RE not looking TOO intelligent in your current form" is the correct
grammatical form.
You may like to reflect on your own words, Mr. Microsoft Wizard.
