The audio from all my media files is not audible on WMP10. These files play
fine and are perfectly audible in applications such as Media Player Classic
and Intervideo WinDVD Platinum. I suspect this may have something to do with
a '3ivx' codec - the one I have installed supposedly expired. Ever since, my
media player will not emit any sound. All my hardware is fine, and sound is
audible from Windows and all my other multimedia programmes. How do I solve
this?!!!

Check the mute button at the bottom of the WMP window.
