When I play any video, I can hear the sound but there is no image. The screen
is black. What can I do to fix this?

Last time I saw this happen it was because my video drivers wernt up to
the job. So I upgraded them

You find out whoever manufactured your video card. Visit their website
and download the latest drivers. Then install them. Make sure you have
a copy of your current drivers first incase it all goes pear-shaped.
