ok. i used kazaa. everything was ok. every file worked and there was no
problems. i had kazaa codec pack. i use wmp 10. few days ago my friend told
me to switch to emule and get rid off all kazaa stuff. i got divx 5.2 and
xvid 1.0.3 codecs. any video file that i download from emule is now getting
the "specified module can not be found". i can still download and listen to
music files. i can still watch movies that i had on my computer before
downloading emule. that's the weird thing about. everybody is saying that
they can not watch or listen to anything. i only get this message when it
comes to emule video files. can it be the files ?? or is it my computer. oh i
use windows xp. and it's a laptop (i don't know if it makes a diference or
not). please help.
I am having the same issue but no answer . Please let me know if it is
working for you or not.
thanks

I have a similar problem, however mine seems more acute. I've downloaded
several xvid codec files and have viewed them all perfectly fine. I have the
same installed codecs for xvid and divx, as well as Media player ten.
However in the last two install ments of the series I was watching, I get you
same error message, however it is only with the last two installments of the
13 or so episodes. The previous eleven worked fine, xvid .avi encoding and
all. In fact, the previous 11 episodes work perfectly fine, even after the
last two fail. I've tried redownloading, and it has not changed the problem.
I can only guess that since the others worked fine and still do, that the
last two files are messed up / corrupt in same way shape or form. Either
that, or the last two installments were encoded differently (possibly with a
more up to date xvid codec - beta perhaps?) Anyhoo, any hints or suggestions
would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
