How do I fix error C00D11CD while using Windows Media Player?

Hello
I was sent a video clip and when i tried to play it got the following error
message
You've encountered error message C00D11CD while using Windows Media Player.
How do I get to watch the clip please? It is definately from a reliable
source.

hi
i m having the same problem with the media player...
the error shows cood11cd
is this coz i m trying to run .avi ext files, if yes then how do i play the
.avi ext files
plz revert back
