I wonder if anyone can help me with this.  I am new to downloading music and
signed up and used the MSN music page and downloaded a couple of songs.  I
can see them in the music library and in my music folder but whenever I try
to play them I get the above error.

Anyone got any ideas what I can do please please please!

I have the same problem! I can do everything else with media player but this.
What good is downloading MSN music when you can't play it on a Microsoft
Windows media player? Shouldn't they be compatible?

I went onto the MSN Music web page and sent a message to their help desk.
They returned by telling me this message indicates (apparently) that my media
player is corrupted and so I was advised to reinstall media player 10.  I
didn't do this and instead choose to roll back to the media player 9 and this
worked and I haven't encountered the problem when I download now.  So maybe
media player 10 just doesn't like downloads!
