I never got a fix.   Im wondering if my router is making the PC think its
off-line when opening a file with the media player.  ANy ideas?

Im not sure if its your router or not. I did find out that this happens when
I try to open an attachment with my hotmail account, but when I try with my
telus account..it works. I can even foreward one that didnt work with the
hotmail account to my telus account and it also will work. Im confused, but I
hope this will help you to solve the problem as I dont think I know enough
about computers. If you figure something out or have any other ideas, PLEASE
let me know.
Thanks
