My media player version is 10.00.00.3646
My OS is Windows XP Proffesional v5.1(Build 2600.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519:
Service Pack 2)

I got the following link from one of my friends on to watch a movie online:

mms://66.90.103.36/buntiaurbabli ahkgfjkagjka sk gkhasg kagh gahks iaiyds
gia.kh baihiygaygiasdgbk baskh biads iyabhkd vagy

After typing the link the internet explorer web browser and hitting the "GO"
button, windows media player opened automatically, and the following error
message has been displayed after some time during which it is trying to
connect to the movie:

Windows media Player cannot play the file. If the file is on another
computer, verify that you are connected to the network. If you typed a path,
verify that it is correct. if the probelm persists, the server might not be
available.

The other info about the problem includes:

Error ID = 0xC00D1197, Condition ID = 0x00000000

Please suggest me a solution for this problem.

A legal copy of the movie - if one exists - will give you no trouble.

hey ted, the movie is a legal copy. isn't there any other problem in playing
such movies like changing the settings in the media player, or downloading
any new codecs or updating protocols, whatever it is. isn't this problem
related to media player settings ??? this is a big doubt in my mind, which i
want to clarify.
