I also get this error when using my cd burner. It says no cd or dvd burner
has been detected. I have no dvd burner but I do have a cd burner and a dvd
player. Has anyone figured out how to fix it? I hope its something simple.
Thanks.

INSTALL THE UPDATES??

I have just tried to burn one of my CD's onto my computer as a mp3 file using
WMP and got the same message. I used to be able to do this but recently it
has been coming up on more and more of my music? Is this to do with some sort
of copyrights issue that Microsoft and put in with one of their updates?

I've got this same error after downloading .wmv video files protected by DRM.
When I first tried to play one of these files, Internet Explorer prompted me
for id and password to acquire the license from the content provider's
website. I entered the required info and clicked on the button. Nothing
appeared to happen for 30 minutes. I gave up waiting so clicked the cancel
button. Now when I attempt to play any of these files I'm not prompted for
the license stuff anymore. Just get the error message C00D11CD

Hi, I was wondering does anyone get a responce with an answer in it for these
posts?  Cause I have to admit that I have to join this crowd of not being
able to get srteam and/or downloads to work.  Mine keeps spitting up error
COOD277F for not having a license.  But even after following all the
recomendations that I can find it still will not work.  Extreemly AGHH!!!
frustrating.  Maybe someone could post an answer to the inquiry, no?

John

PS For the guy with the DRM thing, try following the link in the prompt for
more info and following the recommendations to see if that will work for you.
And let me know if it does.  It goes as far as a new download for the DRM
file but then the link for the download is inactive, frustrating stuff!

One of the reasons questions aren't answered is because few posters to this
newsgroup can put together a coherent sentence. As an example, do you
suppose "the guy with the DRM thing" got your advice?
