Just did another quick test with my one and only region 1 DVD and that works
perfectly!
So it seems to be that WMP does not support this feature with anything but
Region 1 DVDs.
If this is true then I think it is very short sighted of Microsoft to only
support the US market, what about the rest of the world?
Alternatively if anyone knows how to make this work with Region 2 DVDs or
can recommened an alternative Media Player that works with region 2 discs
please let me know

Or, more likely, the database is in the process of being filled out over
time. I just saw a presentation on metadata retrieval - there's tons of
info out there to sift through and add. Sounds like they don't have
coverate on what you're talking about quiet yet, but I'd be 98% certain it's
on their radar.
