I have a few mp3s that I've been downloading and they seem to play in
the WMP but there is no sound. I see the bar progressing like any other
mp3 (other mp3s play just fine). I've tryed dowloading winamp and
PowerDVD but no luck there either, so is prolly some sort of driver or
codex missing, the weird thing is that I don't get any error message of
any codex missing or nothing of that sort. This happens with about 1/3
of all mp3s I download.

If anybody has any advice or could give me a suggestion it would be
great

Thanks a lot for your time

There are certain MP3s that aren't audible when played through the FhG MP3
decoder, IIRC.  But if you're not getting audio in WinAMP either, the files
themselves may not be valid - do they work for anyone else?
