I am using XP and Media Player 10.

In Control Panel / Power Options, I have set "Power Off Monitor" to 10
minutes.

The problem is, when I'm watching a video the monitor powers off.

Is there anyway to prevent this whilst playing back video.

Many thanks
Matthew

UPDATE:

This appears to be a random problem.
Sometimes the monitor powers off, but other times it remains on.

I dont understand why.

Should the monitor remain on during playback and ignore the Windows power
management settings.

Thanks
Matthew
