cd burning

please somone help me,i am at my wits end.I have downloaded music but when i
burn it to cd in windows media player 10,some of the songs are only partialy
there. Remember i am very new to computers and i want to learn so bad.Please
be gentle

Most download links show what the size of the file you want to download is
supposed to be.  After you download it, is the file size on your hard drive  
the same as what the link says it should be?  If so, double click it. Does
your media player open? Does the whole song play? kr.
