WMP Version 10 Error Message

Good Morning:

I'm trying to play a movie using Windows Media Player version 10 this
morning and received the following error: "Windows Media Player cannot play
the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the
codec that was used to compress the file."  The file is a .mov file.

Any suggestions that you may have would be greatly appreciated!  Thanks in
advance!

.mov files are played by Quick Time.
