media player only plays first song of playlist

I have a problem when I want to play a whole CD from my hard drive. I select
play all and the first song plays fine. When the second track starts the
time bar is moving as if the song is playing but there is no sound. I also
have trouble playing select files suck as eCards. If anyone has any ideas on
a solution that would be great.

If you skip to another song, does sound come out... ?
What version of WMP are you using on what version of Windows?
