Randomizer sucks in windows media player

Has anyone looked into working in a better randomizer for windows media
player? Many times I'll just keep getting the same songs when I play
in random mode (sometimes in the same order!) I'm sure this has to do
with an algorithm that wasn't thought through very well. Any one have

Which version of the player are you using? v9 significantly improves it,
v10 improves it that much more.

I've got version 9 at the office and 10 at home (home is noticeably
better).
