Hi

Can anyone she light on this frustrating issue?  I have (legally) downloaded
WMV files that are DRM protected, but they refuse to play on my Win XP Home
SP2 Toshiba Laptop.

"A prolem has occurred in the digital rights management.... "  clicking web
help tells me the error code is C00d271D and that I can fix this by removing
my Administrator user from the same group as my Guest user... which sounds
great...

Until I follow the MS instructions and find I dont have any "user groups" at
all, so removing a user might be just a bit problematical - no?

Anyone else come across this - and more importantly, know how to resolve the
issue?  It's the last time I let MS auto-update 'upgrade' anything on my
machine that's for sure!

(It WAS working on 9, upgrade to 10 'broke' it, rollback to 9 left it broken)

No one here is really qualified to debug DRM issues.  Take that to actual
support:
