I am hosting a lot of content on a Windows 2003 media server for a swedish
university. Latley i have heard of students trying to access streams like
this (mms://willie.du.se/info) and get the message: C00D1198. For every 100
sudents there are about 2 that get this problem.

We have tried all the tricks there is to find to help theese students and
cannot find out what the problem is. Different protocol rstp instead of mms,
no firewalls, downgrading from MP10... Yes MediaPlayer 10 seems to be
inwolved in most cases.. Dont know why...

In this forum thist question resurfaces all the time, please someone (m)
take this question seiously.

Thankful for all the help i can get.

For those two users... what fixes them?  What's their commonality?
