I don't know exactly what to do with the information and am not sure I am
totally grasping it, sorry. It says receiving 8.8 megabytes, received 2.9
megabytes. That is the test I just did. Can you give me a hint on how to use
that information to fix my problem. Thank you in advance for all your help.

My suggestion right now is that you go to WMP's Tools:Options:Performance
tab. Click Choose Connection Speed. Select "T1" from that associated list.
Click OK.
What this does is bypass TAPI, which on some bad modems can conflict with
video playback.
