I am getting error C00D00D4. " Product License has expired."  I have done
alot of research and noticed that many other people have been getting this
error but no solution has been posted.  Please help.  I am trying to stream
media through windows media player.  Nothing seems to work.

Is it possible you've got some sort of plugin for media player - eg a
skin, visualisation or decoder (MPEG for example) which is using WMP
to tell you it's expired ? The Nvidia DVDdecoder is one example of
this sort of plugin. WMP, as you say, doesn't have or require a
product license.

Neil,
Thanks for your input, but i don't think i have any plug-ins. This is the
strangest thing. I have been doing research for weeks on the topic and there
doesn't seem to be a solution.  One thing I find in common with all the
people who are having this problem is that they recently upgraded to media
player 10.  I upgraded to 10 but only because I was having this problem. I
don't think I was already running 10 when this problem started.  I wonder if
anyone else who had this problem was ever able to solve it.  It happens when
i try to stream media from certain sites hawever when i tried it from another
computer the same link opens up fine. This also creates a problem with
yahoo's launch music player.  It opens and just keeps skipping songs.
Hopefully someone can help.  This is driving me crazy.

Hi there,

It worked for us when we rolled my friend's pc back to 9 and went t
Tools->License Agreement->Back Up Licenses and then to Restore Now...

Try it. Radio and stream are working now.

Maybe it can work also on 10 - it is just that some sites wit
protected content ask for a temp license and from what i understand
Media Player has to ask them for a license again once it exprires.

Cheer
