I am getting C00D2772 when trying to load purchased music onto my F10
Gigabeat.  Something about a problem obtaining the device's certificate.  I
have seen previous postings about this problem, but no solution.  Toshiba
refuses to own up to its responsibility for the situation.  They say "we
don't support Windows Media Player", which I suppose is technically true.
However, they single out Windows Media Player version 10 as the way to go
(Napster, too) to transfer purchased songs onto the Gigabeat.  And it ain't
working!!!

Any help would be much appreciated.

One thing to check first : Is your computer's system clock using the
correct date and time ? After that :

Does it help if you go to the Firmware update page and apply that ?

"Toshiba F-Series Firmware Upgrade Version 3.0"

This is the Australian version of the firmware, and may be the only
version available according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gigabeat

I am a newbie so please take my advice with a grain of salt. I got the same
error after losing by Treo 650, obtaining a new one and reinstalling all my
old software on it. I had never had a problem previously syncing WMP 10 to
PocketTunes. After the reinstall, I began having the same error as you when I
tried to sync audiobooks. NormSoft provided the answer and indicated that WMP
had detected that the device was changed and was refusing to service it.

I removed all secure media from the handheld, deleted the PocketTunes
certificate file and reinstalled PocketTunes on the handheld. After that, WMP
has worked without difficulty.

Good Luck,

Phil
