I installed a trial program to convert a DVD slideshow to mpeg.  The program
was not what I wanted and I uninstalled it.  However now when I try to play
my DVD slideshow (created with ULead DVD Creator) the Window Media Player
complains that I need to activate Cineplayer decoder.  I tell it to keep
going and it plays the DVD slideshow properly.  I checked the slideshow on
another machine and the Window Media Player did not ask for the Cineplayer
decoder.

I did a restore on my system prior to when I installed the DVD->mpeg program
but that did not change anything.

Anyway to get the media player to stop asking for this Cineplayer decoder
which it obviously does not need for my DVD slideshow?

I didn't use Ulead DVD Slideshow, but have used Wondershare DVD
Slideshow, you can  try it if you didn't solve your porblem.

It is not ULead DVD Slideshow that is causing this problem, it was another
program I had installed.  Oh well, my system is getting finicky and it may
be time for a format c:.  :-(
