WMP keeps playing after I close it. I have to CTRL-ALT-DEL and go into
Processes to exit that way. This just started this a few days ago. Anyone
know what's happening? Thanks.

That should mean a reference count on the player is still active - is an
external device connected... ?

This just started happening to me today.. Yesterday I installed the 2/12/08
Vista update and today WMP won't shut down at all.. This is extremely
annoying.

This behavior should be much less likely with Vista SP1. If you're still
hitting it there, pipe up and let us know.
