When I play a video file everything works fine initially.  However, when I
make the screen larger manually (by dragging the window) or enter full screen
mode the performance completely deteriorates.  The image slows down and the
sound becomes delayed and starts cracking as well.  Its a brand new computer
so performance shouldn't be an issue.  It sounds like maybe a setting just
needs to be tweaked.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This should be the video card driver needing to be tweaked or have updated
video card drivers applied-
