I have WMP ver 10.  When I rip a CD, all I get is  a Track number and
unknown artist.

There is no file name except for those two items.  Am I supposed to
rename the dang file with the song name, plus maybe the artist's name?

Do I then have to do the same with the Advance Tag deal?

This can't be right.  As for finding further album info on the album on
the Internet,  I can't get that to work either.

This stuff is a major pain in butte!

Are you setting the Album Info *before* you rip?  You can right-click on the
data and edit it that way, even if Find Album Info isn't working.

Speaking for myself only.
See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info.
