Really BIG Problem!!

I have a big problem with Windows media player 11. Whenever i try to add
music from my computer it never adds it I go to add music then i pick a
folder i click add then ok and doesnt work. It also says "searching for media
files in the background" But never finds anythin I haave plenti of music on
my computer. Also when I go to MEDIA SHARING and try to add my Xbox360 WMP11
Frezes and says "Windows media player has encountered a problem and needs to
close" This problem has been going on for about 4 months now. Ive tryed
reinstalling WMP11 3 times now and problem is still here so if some one can
please help. Thank you
