I'm trying to put wmp11 on a standalone computer for my kids. It won't
install without verifying that windows is genuine, but it can't do
that without the internet. Ideas?
So, if I ever get past that problem, will I be able to copy
directories from my computer to the kid's computer so it has all the
song names and album art?
Thanks

If you just hook it up to the net for the install, you can take it off the
net afterwards. I believe that you should be able to just copy the
directories over. I'm not sure about the album art, but I have noticed that
when you click just below the Library tab (the triangle that appears when
you hover Library) and then select "Apply Media Information Changes" it will
do a lot of album art stuff for you. Of course this is after you have
imported the songs into the library and you will need an internet connection
to do this too. But after that, you should be able to go internet free. Good
luck and let me know how it goes,

A: Questions about the Genuine Validation tools are not well suited for this newsgroup--

may be a better starting point. You should be able to just hook it up to the Internet briefly and then pull it offline after that.
B: Yep, should be easy enough using copy.
