I have an mp3 player and I am able to transfer music and video okay, but I
cannot fransfer the audio books. I have Windows XP SP2 and Sony Walkman. I
have downloaded the software for the Walkman with the converter, but still
cannot use it for audio books from my computer. I don't know what other
software program to use for this. I have googled and there is so much out
there. Can anyone direct me to the right codec or converter I need. Thanks
in advance for any help you can give!

Is there something special about the term "Audio Books"? For me, an
"audio book" is a bunch of CD's that I borrow from my local library. I
rip the CD's to MP3 then pop the MP3's on my MP3 player and take the
CD's back to the library. This way I don't have to worry about the fines
if I'm still listening a few months later.

What's the specific file format for that audio book file?
