Which DVD decoder package do you have installed, according to the
DecCheck program ? I'm trying to find out what's common about missing
audio, and knowing which decoders seem prone to this would help :

Please reply listing the currently installed decoder package, and any
others which are listed but incompatible or not set as default decoder

You're probably missing the AC3 audio (dolby digital decoder) which
you can get by installing http://ac3filter.net/project/1/releases
