I have been told that WMP 10 stores the titles of the last 10 DVDs
watched.  Is that true ?  If so where are they stored and how do you
access the information

Most of that information (recently played list)  is stored in the
registry, and can be deleted using the Privacy tab button as detailed
here :

There's not a whole lot of use to WMP storing that info AFAICT because
once the disk's out of the drive, you can't play it without putting it
back in. The information retrieved from the internet in the case of
DVDs is pretty much just (I think) the DVD art and title - so it's not
like you're getting any extra content like actor bios etc to read.
