I recently bought a new computer that runs windows vista.  I took the hard
drive from my old computer(windows xp, media center) and added it as a second
drive tothe new computer in hopes of being able to easily transfer my music
files to the new hard drive.  I was running window's media center as my
default player and have well over 300 cd's stored on the old hardrive.  I am
haveing a very hard time finding my music files though to transfer them.
I've run a search for mp3's and wma's with no luck.  If anyone has any tips
about this I'd certainly appreciate it.

You could just tell Windows Media Player to scan the full old drive for
files to see if it can find them that way.
