Playing DVD's made in WMP 11 (Vista) on WMP 10 in WinXP

when I make a DVD  in Windows Movie Maker from Windows Vista I can play the
DVD in Windows Media Player 11. I cannot bring the DVD to Windows XP and play
it in Windows Media Player 10. (I do not want to upgrade to WMM 11 because I
will not be able to use Active Sync to sync with my PDA.) I can however take
the DVD and play it on a stand alone DVD player.

I'm assuming you're not seeing video *or* hearing audio either.

You've probably not installed a DVD decoder package yet.
Deccheck can test if you've a compatibel DVD decoder installed :

Otherwise you'll have to purchase one - NVidia and Elecard offer trial
decoder versions for you to ensure their compatibility with WMP10 :
