Windows Media Player will not burn .mp3 files to my CD. I receive the error
message quoted below.
Meanwhile the same .mp3 files burn OK to the same blank CD using Nero and
Sony Sonic Stage.
The error message from Windows Media Player says:
"It is not possible to burn this list of files because all of the
files have errors or are missing burn rights. To learn more about
the problems, click the icon next to each file in the burn list"
On clicking what appears to be an icon, and opening the file, I find
a message under "media usage rights" that says "This file is not
protected."
At the same time the same .mp3 files(s) burn OK using Nero 8 or Sony
Sonic Stage.
Are there any instructions about this involving Media Player that I have
not found yet? I understand every instruction has been followed.
Thanks

Are these MP3 files in the library? In some cases when the files don't have
established Durations for the player, the player can choke on them. Usually
playing them first or adding them to the library can help rectify that
angle.
