Any idea why I can not rip an audio CD with Media Player 11 to the MP3 format?

It lets me rip to WMA format, but not to MP3 format.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

What happens when you change?

Sorry - what happens if you change the rip-to bitrate?  What bitrate are you
ripping at?
