Hi Neil,
It is a movie recorded in a CD. I can hear it but I can not watch it. I have
the same problem with other movies recorded in my hard disk. I think the
problem is that I do not have some codecs but I do not know which ones I need
and where to get them.
Thanks for your help

OK so my guess is you went to a torrent or movie sharing site.
They frequently distribute "complete movies" which fit on a CD
By far the most common format for that is an AVI video, using the DivX
codec. So you'd need http://www.divx.com/divx/windows/codec/ for WMP
to play that back.
Holler if that doesn't fix it and I'll ask more questions.
HTH
Cheers - Neil
