Hi everytime I download something to play with WMP I get a werid album art on
the right side that says "French Sessions" with an orange cover art. It's
some sort of techno house album from what I gather. Is it my default image
and how did it get there.

Many unanswered questions here:
* version of WMP?
* where are you downloading from?
* do you have files not affected by this? (eg ripped CDs)

Hm... well I have WMP 9. It happens only when I download links from sendspace
(or similar ones) for short interview/concert clips from a favorite band of
mine. Those links were posted from different people. Regualar album art is
displayed when I put in one of regualr cd's.

Then either that art is already embedded in those files (use the Advanced
Tag Editor to check, via its Pictures tab), or WMP has misidentified one of
the tracks, and all tracks in the same folder are getting the same artwork.
