I go to digitallyimported.com to listen to streaming
music.  They have links which stream *.pls files.
Windows media player doesn't come with any default
ability to stream these.  Only winamp and Real player are
able to stream these file types. So is there some plug-in
or something i can install into windows media player so
it will work with these file types?

Thats because those are Real/Winamp playlists.  We wont play them.
