can someone pleaseeee help me?

i used to download videos normally and they would play like I said...normally

now when i start dl'ing any kind of videos and I play them on wmp, it comes
up with "windows encountered an unkown error. This can occur when another
program or operating system component encounters a problem but does not
communicate the nature of the problem to the player."

And, no im not downloading porn, lol

anyone now what the problem is?
I mean it used to play normally, but now it doesnt play it.

the weird thing is...that my videos on my computer work perfectly fine, but
when i try downloading a regular mpg, or mpeg video from frostwire it doesnt
work anymore

gives me the error message

The microsoft MPEG1 package on this page might help with Video CD :
(VCD) content, but not MPEG2 :
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/forpros/format/codecdownload.aspx

If the content is MPEG2 then you need to check your system has a
compatible MPEG2 decoder, which you do using DecCheck :
