can i get rid of online store button?

I use WMP for a few things but I'll never buy music through it. I just would
like to get rid of the store button completely just to tidy up the visuals.

Historically the only way to do that has been to change your user locale to
somewhere that doesn't have a store (which in itself can have side-effects).
v11 is built around users being customers, period.

hmm, I suppose it's not that irritating. That sounds like a whole new can of
worms. I guess I'll just wait for a registry hack or dll patch.  It is
irritating enough some enterprising soul will find a work-a-round.
