Those types are not registered for the library and thus could not be
added...
You could add by hand the appropriate registry keys under
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Multimedia\WMPlayer\Extensions
, but that's rather a head-ache.

Thanks ever so much for your reply. I finally get it.
However, the reply raises two more questions:
1. Does this mean I wont be able to "find" my dvd:s in xbox 360 mediacenter?
(I am considering bying one - to able to acess/enjoy music and watch videos
stored on my external drive).
2. Where can I find a guide on how to "add by hand the appropriate registry
keys"?
(Does such a guide exist?)
Thanks again for any advise on the subject. It is highly appreciated.

1: I don't really know about the Media Center filtering. I would imagine
you would want to convert the files to something more compatible. WMV would
work well, of course.
2: I'm not aware - it's not something I've searched for since I wrote most
of that. Should be pretty straight-forward... duplicate the .mpg entries or
stuff like that. It's really logical.
